There’s nothing i love more than my couples being willing to literally embrace the elements. Let’s be fair, we live in a country which has predictable crappy weather, but, being willing embrace this torrential winter weather on a lake is for me… dreamy!
Now it’s been a little while since i have done a pre-wedding shoot and honestly my love of them has come back hugely, gosh they are magical and it literally is the most perfect way to really get to know my couples, see how they interact with each other and also them to get to know me.
So valentines weekend, with just over a month to go to their wedding day we decided to venture to Bala lake to go on an adventure and agreed to embrace it regardless of the weather, i’m actually, secretly, rather glad that it was this torrential weather because i personally think it creates so much drama, it’s moody, it’s choppy, it’s gritty and it gives a romantic warmth to imagery. Also it says so much about the relationships i have with my clients that they trust me regardless.
