What exactly is a micro wedding?
You’ve heard the term Micro Wedding over and over again right? And you’re kind of wondering exactly what this hype is? Well let me explain by telling you all about this Intimate and Modern Chester Micro Wedding.
Let Me explain!
So i think all people have a slightly different interpretation to what this is. For me it’s a small and intimate wedding of 30 or less guests, with a short coverage typically 3-5 hours of photography.
Normally a micro wedding consists of a small intimate ceremony. Sometimes there are at a town hall or with a humanist celebrant and then on to something cute like a quirky restaurant or a bar. We have time to get some dreamy bridal portraits but not the full shabbang of bridal prep, the ceremony, a handful of groups (if you want that) a gorgeous adventure shoot wandering through the town/city or wherever you are, and then onto your ‘reception’.
Now i actually adore these types of weddings, i love how intimate they are, how much more personal they are. The relationships you can build with the couple and the guests. The extra time you get due to it being more relaxed allows you to get even more creative again. The whole thing becomes magical!
Ele and Josh – The Highlights of their day.
Ele and Josh – these gawj dreamboats opted for this exact thing. This was quite a last minute booking, with prep being held at Chester Grosvenor where Ele wanted a first look with her dad on the staircase. Over to the ever spectacular Chester Town Hall, and then onto Chez Jules for an intimate meal.
Ele chose a hand made unique dress from Etsy and florals that were inspired by her mums bouquet. Dreamy!!!!
Day 2 was an informal relaxed back garden party for all the guests that couldn’t come to the actual ceremony… what a set up this was!!!
So here’s some highlights, these are the sneaks that were recently delivered following their June Wedding whilst i crack on with editing their collection.
