PERSONAL: 2018 round up - the most rad and wildest wedding photography year yet

Here am sat here in March 2019 only finally getting round to publishing this god damn post which I started in like November 2018… where does all this time go? I'm terrified i’ll blink and it’ll be Christmas again! It only seems like yesterday I was writing a 2017 round up, but anyway here we are. 2018 has been a bit of a bloody bonkers year for me, I took the decision to shoot less weddings, bloody brave I know but I had to for my own sanity and also to really focus on my dream brides in addition to trying to complete a pretty wild bucket list year challenge. Now I won’t bore you with that update here but I will write one so be sure to check back super soon!!

I have been all over the place this last year, shooting weddings in some of what I class as the best wedding venues in the uk, ticking off some more awesome bucket list wedding vibes. I hung with some of the most awesome suppliers, brides, grooms, unforgettable families, and not forgetting working and collaborating with some of my most idolised fashion bloggers too all whilst running some of my own styled shoot workshops for epic photographers. It’s been fun…to say the least!

you’re going to see some of my ultimate favourites images, from festival weddings, wedding ceremonies on lakes, wild elopements in the Lake District, boho winter weddings in Yorkshire, wild boho wedding vibes on Llangenith beach in South Wales, City centre elopements, rad indie city centre shoots in Manchester, celestial outdoor romance in the Goyt Valley, Country pubs and hippie vans, more hippies vans, electric vibrant neon romance, and even more wild romance. From Anglesey to South Wales, to Yorkshire, to Derbyshire, to Mid Wales…. and literally everywhere in between.

My ultimate top venue of the year (inserting all the crazy heart eyes) has to be the EPIC Giraffe Shed, now guys if you’re still looking for a wedding venue, want something so dreamy, untraditional, owned by the most perfect babe ever who totally puts every ounce of effort into getting to know you, then you have to go check this out…. quick… honesty you’d be silly not to pay it a visit!

Now shoot wise, I was so fortunate to get to hang with epic people, but my most noteworthy was probably the epic bloggers Chloe and Christian, I seriously love these guys…. I actually got to hang with these babes TWICE…. They literally just ooze charm, swagger and coolness, feel free to go check them out too! If you haven’t noticed my other blog post about these guys… go check it out here…. and read all bout the Indie fashion collab.

Also just for some more oozing heart eyes, is the gawj Toni and Lewis Prothero, yeahhh these babes i’m Pretty sure you’ve seen like a million times over the internet this year, and I was lucky to hang with them on more then one occasion, one of which I was also teamed with hanging with my idols at the Shack Revolution in the stunning town of Hereford who on a side note cooked me what was hands down the BEST friggin vegan pizza that I have tasted… separate blog post also required here!

Now lets talk weddings, I can not pick just one stand out wedding this year as genuinely there have been some absolute corkers all for different reasons, so here are some of my highlight wedding images from the fabulous Manchester King Street Townhouse, The Cock o Barton, Eden Wedding Barn, Carreglwyd estate… just to name a few.
