Wild adventures in the Goyt Valley - A Celestial style wedding / Peak District Wedding Photography
So some of you may or may not know that I also along side being a wedding photographer based in North Wales, that as well as travelling and shooting weddings all over the UK Ireland and the rest of the world, that I also run styled shoot workshops. Now I run these with my good friend AKA Twinnie, Rachael of the The Burtons Photography. This what you are about to cast your eyes over is one of these workshops...
I feel very very lucky to be able to do what I do, in fact to be able to do a job I love so much and then also get to allow my creative juices to flow over and over again, it's like planning wedding days constantly. It makes me happy, fills my heart with joy when I get to see all the visions pull together and work so well.
The purpose of this shoot day was to mix outdoor / elopement style wedding photography with a little more of stylised twist, something you might not necessarily put together. We chose a celestial vibe with a paganistic twist, something very true to my heart.
There's something so dreamy about crystals, sun catchers, chimes, outdoors in the wild, hearing the river flowing and the wind rustling the trees. I just love being back in nature. It's almost very grounding!
I have to be honest, this day was a killer, the amount of hiking, and yes I mean HIKING involved to get to this location whilst carrying everything that you see before you was hard going, but do you know what, the sweating, aching arms, legs, feet and back, freezing cold burning hands and face was so crazily worth it!
You will find a full list of all suppliers involved in this shoot right at the very bottom, so be sure to scroll through to see the list. I need to say a special thank you to EVERYBODY involved, this was one tough day, and everybody deserves a huge thanks for it!
If anybody is out there looking for a totally relaxed wedding photographer, a photographer who who is natural but a bit alternative, then i am the girl for you! Feel free to pop me a little message as i'd love to send you my latest pricing brochure.
