A Festival Tipi Wedding in Wales
Oh my gosh i feel so lucky every time i get a booking for a festival tipi wedding, and even luckier when it is in Wales, as obviously i live here! It took me such a long time after turning pro to finally book one, which i’d wanted for soooo long. Now i book LOADS and i feel so amazing that i do. Right up there as my fave type of wedding.
Chrissie and Ryan booked me to shoot their Festival Tipi Wedding with not much time to spare actually and my gosh i was glad they did. It just so happened to be that this was my accountants sister ( i should have twigged at the name) but anyway, what a day!
Random fact -I seem to have a trend of booking teachers 🙂 yes these two babes are also teachers!
They opted for a church wedding to begin with after getting ready at Chrissie’s beautiful parents house overlooking the welsh valleys, and not even the rain on the lead up the church could put this gawj babe off, although sadly it did put off the transport of her dads vintage cars, but so what…. it was still perfect in every way possible! The church was quaint and actually dark, and my gosh, for those of you who have followed me throughout my photography journey (the last sort of 8 years) you’ll know how much i adore a dark wedding location, it’s perfect for my style and editing style, i adore the shadows and getting play with the dancing light.
After the stunning church we headed in convoy to the beautiful Hawarden Estate / Hawarden Castle, where there was a tipi adorned with fairy lights and fire pit, an orchard, fields, garden games, just pure magic.
